CPT, or Cognitive Processing Therapy, is a modality used in treating trauma for individuals ages 14 and up. Your presenter will demonstrate how parts of CPT can be used in the interactive sandtray between client and therapist.

Using the clients' maladaptive belief, or stuck points, the client and clinician will explore the relationship between thoughts and feelings.

Then, in sandtray play therapy, we'll explore the relationship between the two sides of our brains and use miniatures to help promote a new narrative.
